Gene Matrix publishes educational content about genetic testing, precision medicine, and genomic science. Our goal is simple: content that a physician would find accurate and a patient would find understandable. Every article is written to be evidence-based, plainly worded, and transparent about what a genetic test can and cannot tell you.

2. Cited Clinical Sources
Clinical claims in Gene Matrix articles are grounded in primary, authoritative sources. When we state a fact about a gene, a drug-gene interaction, a screening guideline, or a test characteristic, it traces back to one or more of the following:
- CPIC — Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium guidelines for drug-gene pairs
- FDA — pharmacogenomic information in FDA drug labeling and FDA-cleared collection device documentation
- NCCN — National Comprehensive Cancer Network guidelines for hereditary cancer risk assessment and screening
- ACMG / AMP — American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics standards for variant classification and reporting
- PubMed-indexed literature — peer-reviewed studies, meta-analyses, and clinical trials
Where evidence is evolving or uncertain, we say so. Statistics about our own laboratory — such as 99.9% analytical accuracy validated against Sanger sequencing — describe analytical performance of our CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited laboratory, not clinical outcomes guarantees.
3. Medical Review on Every Article
Every article on genematrix.io is reviewed by a named member of our medical team before publication. The reviewer's name, credentials, and review date appear in the byline at the top of each article and in the article's structured data. Our reviewers are:

4. Quarterly Re-Verification
Genomics moves fast, and so do prices, guidelines, and panel contents. Comparison pages (such as Gene Matrix vs. 23andMe) and cost pages (such as BRCA test cost and PGx test cost) are re-verified every quarter against current competitor pricing, current CMS fee schedules, and the latest versions of the clinical guidelines we cite. Articles are re-reviewed when the underlying guideline or evidence base changes materially.
5. Corrections Policy
If we get something wrong, we fix it — visibly. Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed, and material corrections are noted at the bottom of the affected article with the date of the change. Minor edits (typos, formatting, clarified wording) may be made without a formal note. If you believe something on this site is inaccurate, tell us — every correction request is reviewed by a member of the medical team.
