Medical Review Process

Every article on genematrix.io is reviewed by a named physician or laboratory director before publication — and re-reviewed on a fixed schedule after it.

The 4-Step Review Process

[ Every Article · No Exceptions ]
[ Step 01 ]

Expert author drafts the article

Each piece is written by a subject-matter author — a scientist, physician, or laboratory director — using primary clinical sources rather than secondary summaries.

[ Step 02 ]

Medical reviewer sign-off

A named member of the medical team reviews the full article and signs off with their name, credentials, and the review date — shown in the byline at the top of every article and in its structured data.

[ Step 03 ]

Citations check

Every clinical claim is checked against its source: CPIC guidelines, FDA drug labeling, NCCN guidelines, ACMG/AMP variant-classification standards, or the PubMed-indexed literature. Claims that cannot be sourced are removed or rewritten.

[ Step 04 ]

Quarterly re-review

Published articles — and all comparison and cost pages — are re-reviewed every quarter, or immediately when a cited guideline, panel, or price changes.
