Once your test is complete, your DNA sample is automatically and permanently destroyed following strict biohazard disposal protocols — no exceptions. We do not retain physical samples after analysis. If a retest is ever needed for any reason, we will ship you a brand new collection kit at no charge, so you can provide a fresh sample. GeneMatrix will only release customer data to law enforcement if compelled by a valid court order, subpoena, or search warrant.
