Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. Gene Matrix is actively working to address all known issues. We aim to achieve full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance by Q4 2026.

Accessibility Features Implemented

All images include descriptive alt text. Background video is purely decorative, muted, and includes a user-controlled pause/play button. Form inputs have visible labels and ARIA descriptions. Color contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG AA minimums (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).

  • Skip navigation link on every page (WCAG 2.4.1)
  • All images have descriptive alt text (WCAG 1.1.1)
  • Background video is muted, decorative, and user-controllable with pause/play button (WCAG 1.4.2, 2.2.2)
  • Background video respects prefers-reduced-motion system setting (WCAG 2.3.3)
  • All form inputs have associated visible labels and ARIA descriptions (WCAG 1.3.1, 3.3.2)
  • Form submission status announced via aria-live regions (WCAG 4.1.3)
  • Social media links have descriptive aria-label and sr-only text (WCAG 2.4.6)
  • Keyboard focus indicators visible on all interactive elements (WCAG 2.4.7)
  • Heading hierarchy is logical: H1 → H2 → H3 (WCAG 1.3.1)
  • Language declared in HTML lang attribute (WCAG 3.1.1)
  • ARIA roles and landmarks used throughout (WCAG 4.1.2)
  • Color is not the only means of conveying information (WCAG 1.4.1)
