Auto-Renewal Terms

GeneMatrix+ is the only thing we sell that renews. Every test is a one-time purchase.

The first year of GeneMatrix+ is included when you turn on automatic renewal at checkout. After that it’s $99 a year until you cancel. Renewal is charged to your payment method each year. Leave automatic renewal off and you get the test alone, without a GeneMatrix+ year. Cancel anytime online, or by writing to info@genematrix.io. Your reports stay yours.

• Price: $99 a year
• First year: The first year of GeneMatrix+ is included when you turn on automatic renewal at checkout. It starts on your order date. It comes with any genetic test; Oral Health DNA does not include it. Leave automatic renewal off and you get the test alone, without a GeneMatrix+ year.
• Renewal: The first year of GeneMatrix+ is included when you turn on automatic renewal at checkout. After that it’s $99 a year until you cancel.
• Renewal date: One year after your order date. Checkout shows the exact date before you pay.
• Payment: Once you turn on automatic renewal at checkout, it is charged to your payment method each year until you cancel.
• How to cancel: Cancel anytime online, or by writing to info@genematrix.io.
• If you cancel: Your reports stay yours. Re-reads stop, and nothing renews.
• Washington, DC: Orders shipped to Washington, DC can get the first year by turning on automatic renewal at checkout too, but nothing is charged at renewal unless you confirm when we ask, before the first renewal.

At checkout, the full terms sit in the label of a box that is unticked: the price, the term, that it renews automatically, your renewal date and how to cancel. Tick it and the first year is included with your genetic test, then it renews automatically each year until you cancel. Leave it unticked and you get the test alone, with no year to renew. We keep a record of your consent.

Orders shipped to Washington, DC can get the first year by turning on automatic renewal at checkout too, but nothing is charged at renewal unless you confirm when we ask, before the first renewal.

Before any renewal, we will email you twice: 30 to 40 days before, and again 15 to 21 days before, with the price, the renewal date and how to cancel. These timings are chosen to meet the notice periods of California, New York, Illinois and Washington, DC.

The reminder emails are [To be confirmed]: they are not sent yet, and no renewal can fall due before they are.

Once card payments open, these are the state rules we will follow:

• California: the terms will sit beside your consent, and you will get an acknowledgment email with how to cancel, a reminder before a yearly renewal, and a way to cancel online.
• New York: you will get notice before a yearly renewal, and you will be able to cancel through any of the ways you signed up.
• Illinois: you will get written notice 30 to 60 days before the cancellation deadline of a term of a year or more, and a way to cancel online.
• Washington, DC: we will ask for your yes before the first charge after an included period, and send notice before a yearly renewal with a cancel link.

To cancel online, go to genematrix.io/membership/manage and enter the email you ordered with. We’ll email you a secure link that works once, for a short time, and opens a page where you can turn off automatic renewal. Your year runs to its end date, and nothing more is charged.

If your order is refunded in full, the GeneMatrix+ year that came with it ends too: we cancel it at once, so it doesn’t renew and nothing more is charged. A partial refund leaves GeneMatrix+ as it is.

Every report stays yours to keep. Re-reads stop when GeneMatrix+ ends.
